Isaiah 50:10 says, “Who among you fears the LORD? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD and rely upon his God.” You may fear God and love Him dearly, yet you find yourself in darkness and no light.
As I type this blog I am listening to The Afters’ new song, Light up the Sky, and it is a strong reminder of how God is with us, and we cannot deny that He is with us for He opens our eyes so we can see Him all around us. Yes, He is awesome and He loves us. We are to run to Him for He is the bright and morning Son!
Roy Fish said, “We do not need impressions when we have commissions.” We need not wait until we feel an emotional tug before we go and help someone or tell them about the King who saved our souls. Sitting here thinking about Illuminate Austin, I am looking forward to what God will do through us as we partner with other believers in east Austin and shine the light of Jesus to those in need.
