There are many opportunities to serve at Great Hills.  We’re here to help you find a place to serve in your area of interest, passion and giftedness. We believe the church only functions correctly when all of its members are serving God together. See some of the available areas to serve below or contact any of the ministry areas for information on how you may serve.

Media Ministry

The Media Ministry of Great Hills Baptist Church offers many opportunities for volunteer service. If you have experience with technical aspects of sound, lighting, cameras, photography, editing, Photoshop or a willingness to learn these skills, you may find a place of service on the GHBC Media Ministry Team. Contact the Media Ministry at 343-7763 ext 262 if you are interested in serving.

Telephone Ministry

The Telephone Ministry of Great Hills Baptist Church is staffed with volunteers.  Telephone volunteers work on a rotating basis, one Sunday a month, answering the phones during the Great Hills television broadcast.   If you have a heart to help hurting people, have been trained in FAITH or another evangelism program, and are willing to serve from 10:00-10:45 AM one Sunday each month, please contact 343-7763 ext 262, or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Prayer Ministry

Warriors on the Wall

Warriors on the Wall are those who have committed to pray one hour per week for specific ministries of the church.  Prayer needs are provided by the ministerial staff on a monthly basis.  You can receive these prayer requests by picking up a copy around the church campus, or by signing up and giving your email address to the Music Office.  As a Warrior on the Wall, you are asked to sign up for a specific hour and specific day of the week to pray for the requests on the Warriors Prayer Guide.  To sign up to become a Warrior on the Wall email Donna Hobbs at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Partners in Prayer

Partners in Prayer are those who are committed to be daily intercessors for the many prayer requests we receive.  Prayer needs are received from many different people in all walks of life.  You can receive these prayer requests by mail, e-mail or calling our prayer phone line.  As an intercessor, you are asked to set aside one hour per week to pray for the requests that you receive.  To sign up to become a Partners in Prayer prayer warrior, simply email Isabelle Johnson, the Partners in Prayer Ministry Coordinator, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
