On Sunday, September 4th, fires broke out across Central Texas. Authorities say 38,000 acres have burned in Bastrop, destroying over 1,700 homes (per State of Texas records), 300 acres in Leander/Cedar Park destroying 15 homes/trailers, 7,000 acres in Pedernales destroying 30 homes/damaging 20 homes, 175 acres in Pflugerville damaging two homes, and 150 acres in Steiner Ranch, destroying 24 homes and damaging over 20 homes (Austin, Tx). ADRN will be assisting several of these families that did not have insurance or suffient coverage to meet their immediate needs.
