Greetings from James Myers, College & Singles Pastor!

My wife (Michelle) and I are excited to be a part of the team here at Great Hills Baptist Church.  We have come a long way to get here, but now that we’re here, we feel right at home.

We are both originally from Tennessee, but met one another while attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Not only did we meet there, but we also were privileged to sit under Pastor Danny’s teaching at SBTS. While completing my schooling, I served as the Young Adults Pastor at Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington, TX.  My ministry there included both college and singles, and I am looking forward to continuing on in that same vein as I serve you here at Great Hills.

This church is rich in history, and has a great staff.  I believe God is going to do even greater things here in the days ahead.  Please don’t hesitate to say “hi” to me… and tell me your name several times. (I struggle with names, but we’ll blame it on me being the “new guy”!!!).
