Trexa has been Director of the Preschool/K Ministry at Great Hills Baptist Church for the past 27 years. Trexa, as well as her husband, Richard, are both natives of Austin. After accepting Jesus as her Personal Savior, Trexa felt a definite "calling from the Lord" to serve young children and their families. Trexa has been married to Richard for 36 years. They have 2 daughters, Holly and Hillary. Trexa was educated at Texas State University and The University of Texas with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development. Trexa has a passion for working with young parents and their children and keeps a "constant vision and committment" for partnering with parents to lay a firm spiritual foundation during a child's formative years so that when he is older he will be anxious to accept Christ as his Personal Savior. |

Margaret Kipp has been a member of Great Hills since 1999, after being saved on Mother's Day of that same year. As a mother, she had felt the Lord lead her to minister and devote time and talents to children of all ages. Her love for children had led Margaret to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Texas State University and subsequently taught fifth grade for 8 1/2 years in both the Round Rock and Leander School Districts. She has two children, Jamie and Brian, both who are in college. Margaret and Jack married in 2003 after meeting in the GHBC Singles Ministry. Both of them are active in the church choir, and Jack is presently teaching a Bible Life Class. As they both continue to grow in Christ, they pray for opportunities to share the Word with others. Margaret considers it a blessing to a part of the Preschool/K Ministry and a Christ-loving church where people can connect to God and others. |

Holly Hilderbrand is a Preschool/K Ministry Associate and Director of O'Chester Learning Center, the Weekday Ministry at Great Hills Baptist Church. She previously taught Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten at O'Chester Learning Center before accepting the position of Director in 2002. Great Hills has been Holly's church home all of her life. She was saved at the age of eight and felt the Lord's tug on her heart to surrender to full-time ministry when she was a Jr. in High School. Holly has a passion for children that is self-evident. She believes that it is imperative that the church and the home become partners in equipping children at an early age with biblical precepts. Her greatest blessing is watching children walk through the doors of Great Hills with smiles on their faces excited about being at church. In her spare time she enjoys Scrapbooking, drinking a Caramel Frappachino at Starbuck's with a friend, and weekend shopping in Canton, Texas at First Monday Market Days. |

Rebecca and her family joined GHBC in 2004. She worked as a Pre-K teacher at O'Chester Learning Center for the '05-'06 School Year. At the conclusion of the school year she began to work in the preschool/k ministry office. Rebecca also served regularly on Sunday mornings teaching Kindergarten. Rebecca has now rejoined to the Preschool/K Ministry staff as and Assistant to the Ministry and Coordinator of DiscipleLand, our PreKinder and Kinder Sunday morning program. Rebecca and her husband, Louis, were married in October 1996 and have 2 girls; Camille and Anna. Rebecca is originally from Arkansas and Louis is from Benoni, South Africa. They have lived in Austin since 1997. One of Rebecca's favorite Bible verses is 1 Thessalonians 1:4. Rebecca feels truly blessed to work with the Preschool/Kindergarten Team and is excited to see all of the children's faces as they have fun learning about Jesus! |

Jan has been a member of Great Hills for 37 years and Dan joined in 1992. They have been married for 15 years. Dan and Jan have served in the Preschool/K Ministry of Great Hills for 13 years. They currently serve as Preschool/K Ministry Coordinators and oversee HeartLand, our 2's and 3's Sunday morning program. Dan and Jan have two children; Zach, age 13 and Emma, age 8. Jan enjoys reading and traveling. Dan enjoys camping and coaching Zach's baseball team. Jan's favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11. Dan's favorite verse is Galatians 2:20. As they are now entering the "teen years," they would encourage parents to treasure every day. They are amazed at how quickly the years fly by as children get older. |

Kellie has been a member of Great Hills for 34 years and Mark joined in 1999. Mark and Kellie have been married for 13 years and have 2 children; Justin, age 11 and Benjamin, age 9. Mark and Kellie served as Assistant Worship Care Directors for 5 years and currently serve as Preschool/K Ministry Coordinators for DiscoveryLand, our Infant through 2's Sunday morning program. Kellie has taught our Toddler class at O'Chester Learning Center for 4 years. Kellie enjoys scrapbooking, the outdoors and spending time with her family. Mark likes to spend time outdoors hunting and fishing with Kellie and their boys. Kellie's favorite verse is John 3:16 and Mark's favorite verse is Psalm 27:1. Mark and Kellie felt led to serve on the Preschool/K Ministry Leadership Team after many years of serving as volunteers within the Preschool/K Ministry. They consider it a blessing to be able to see your children grow and learn about the love of Jesus at a young age. |

Ken and Rosie joined Great Hills in November 1992. They moved to Austin in 1975 from Phoenix, Arizona. They have been married 32 years and have two married daughters and one terrific grandson. They love serving and making themselves available to God's calling. Ken has a love and passion for woodworking and looks forward to the weekends when he will be out in his shop working on his latest project. One of Ken's favorite Bible verses is Galatians 6:9. Rosie loves spending time with her family, reading, and shopping. She has been a member of the GHBC Choir for eleven years and enjoys listening to music. One of Rosie's favorite verses is Proverbs 3:5. They are grateful to be able to minister to all the young families that come through the doors of Great Hills. It is their heart's desire to show the love of Jesus to all of the little children and make a difference in their lives that will draw them to Jesus. |

Jacob and Shannon have been members of Great Hills since 2004. They both grew up in San Angelo, TX and have been married for 10 years. Jacob and Shannon have two sons; Colston, age 4 and Hudson, age 3. Over the past year Shannon has served as a teacher in the pre-school area and Jacob has served at the Boarding Pass Station with our Security System where he continues to serve on Sunday mornings. Jacob and Shannon currently serve as Preschool/K Ministry Coordinators. Jacob is an avid NASCAR fan and also enjoys going fishing and camping with his family. Shannon enjoys going to cooking classes and spending time outdoors with the family. Jacob and Shannon see the church as an extension of their family and feel Great Hills is an important part of helping them and their sons grow in their knowledge of Christ. They enjoy being part of the Preschool/K Ministry and working to help children learn more about our Lord and Savior.
